I did a trade with a nice fellow on this forum for these Zims and they are different than any i,ve seen.These are hahog shells with maple re rings on all the drums.The snare is an 8 lugger and sounds quite good.The romance with this kit is that Zims were the very first real kit my dad bought me over 45 yrs ago,and the same color.For jazz gigs and lower volume shows they will do just fine.I,ll get some pics up soon,and thx for the help.
