I had planned on scooping these up, but I thought better of it and decided to share the auction with my buds on the best forum ever.

Take a close look at these. Pretty cool kit.

4 Piece Vintage Drumset (custom paint)

This auction is for a 4-piece Vintage Drumset with custom paint.

Included: 1-Bass Drum (22x14), 1-Ride Tom (12x8), 1-Ride Tom (13x9), 1-Floor Tom (16x16). Comes with mounting hardware, all original hardware, and original wrap. I am pretty sure they are basswood shells, lugs and rings are immaculant. This is a custom set with killer paint (Laquer and stain paint with custom graphics, glitter and metal flake, custom lace look!! Looks awesome under lights).

Unsure of actual brand, very nice shells, from early 1970's (Vintage 1970's sound). Was attached to drum rack! Needs Floor Tom Legs and mounts, 16" 8 lug bottom hoop. Can be played, but will need new heads soon. Very beautiful set, real eye catcher!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions/request for additional pics.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

The term "ride tom" came from the single tom that sits on the bass next to the bass mounted "ride cymbal". They were both attached to the bass drum and so they were both called "ride". Floor tom sits on the floor. You get the picture. This fell out of favor when twin toms...and four or five or six or seven or eight or nine or ten or eleven or twelve (ROCK ON) toms...became the flavor. The name carries over from guys who played in the day or were taught by guys who played prior to Watergate.
