I have a kit with 2 bass drums and 6 concert toms and a 16" floor tom and supra snare. All these drums fit in 3 cases. It sounds like john hates concert toms, but if i remember correctly, back in the day everyone took the bottom heads off of the toms. I think everyone is caught up in having a totally stock ooriginal kit. I also remember back in the day, Someone would buy a brand new 57 chevy, and the 1st thing they would do is go to a trim shop, like mine, and have rolled and pleated seat covers installed and then go get some chrome wheels with babymoon hubcaps.

Looks like it finally sold for $500. Pretty good return on investment, but probably a disappointment nonetheless. A little too far out of the mainstream, I suppose.
