Hi there. I just had my old Yamaha D22 13 and 16” toms rewrapped. I’m quite impressed with the result. I purchased an old Star 22 x 14 kick which I’m rewrapping in the same wrap to go with the toms. Will post full kit picks once I receive it back. Here’s pics of the toms, before and after.

Drums: Ludwig / Star / Tama / Yamaha
Snares: Arai /Mapex / Ludwig / Slingerland / Star / Tama
Cymbals: Meinl / Paiste / Tosco / Wuhan /Zildjian / Zyn

Thanks man. Those are still the same lugs. The photos do compliment the lugs a bit as there is still some pitting, but they did shine up very nicely. Have a great day.

Nice Job, Erik! Those lugs were really corroded!

What kind of wrap did you use? Almost looks like the self adhesive wrap you can buy in stores. It looks nice, just wondering.

thanks guys - the wrap is not a self-adhesive wrap but is not the credit card thick wrap either. It is not the greatest quality but at the price was a good deal. Ill post some pics of the finished project soon :-)

Done - I changed the white tatoo’d Head to a black Yamaha logo head.
