WW2 Gretsch Drum Set (what's it worth)? Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Can anyone tell me what this set is worth? I'm running out of room and want to sell them. The Drum sizes are 26'', 14'' & 12'' The skins are calf skin, the 14'' has no bottom skin. The hoops & lugs are wood. The 12'' hoop has a very small crack that looks to me like a small seperation that maybe could be glued. All 3 badges are perfect and all the tacks are present and the wood legs are tight and stable. I think it is the original paint. I'll post some pics . If they aren't clear let me know and I'll reshoot them. Thanks..

I'm not a Gretsch guy, but I think I'm slowly becoming one...LOL! I'm not sure on the value, but they seem to be more rare than the WFL Victorious sets and the Slingerland Rolling Bomber sets. Very cool....wouldn't mind those myself!

Are trades considered?

I wouldn't mind trading but I'd like to know what they are worth first. I tried searching the net for a comparison price but was unsuccesful. A while back a tom from the same era went for over $200.00 on ebay. Coffee Break2

Well I'm not gonna lie to you, they are rare, so I'm not suprised that not much came back in your ebay search. Slingerland Rolling Bombers are the most commonly found of the era, with WFLs a not so close second. Gretsch's rarely come up from this era. Very cool kit.

I'm guessing somewhere over $1,500.
