Agreed, not really the most desirable Gretsch kit, but definitely would make a cool practice set, and worth well more than the asking price. I'd say grab it!

The strainer and two badges alone are worth $200.... you can't lose....

That could be a round badge bass drum. The floor tom leg mounts are hard to see, they could be quetionable. If it is contact paper it would be an easy fix. I would go for it.

Well, the owner hasn't contacted me as of 4:30 est and I'm leaving town for the holidays tomorrow morning, so it all appears to be a moot point as of now.
