WMP 1960s Gretsch Round Badge kit Last viewed: 27 minutes ago

Loading...

for sale, what i believe is, a Gretsch "playboy" kit.

it has no floor tom. supposedly the floor tom was optional and the original owner did not get one when he ordered it. the tom is 13" and the kick is 22" with a 14" snare.

anyways, let me know if anyone is interested in it to buy or trade for.

the kit is in great shape.

i have more pictures if you'd like to see them.

i just posted some pictures. there is a particular thing wrong with it. while there are absolutely no extra holes or anything, the strainer was replaced by the original owner. the 4-point strainer that came on it broke and so the guy replaced it with a 3-point strainer and only used the two top existing holes to put it on the drum. the strainer is similar and has the same footprint as the original. here is a picture of that.

haha, it's ok man. ya i was curious about that myself. i bought it from the guy that was the second owner. he told me that the original owner was an old man that bought it just as something to do as a hobby. so he ordered it originally without the floor tom since that was an option at the time. i was told that he had left it inside it's whole life and only used it here and there. the pictures don't really do it justice. this kit is in really pristine condition.

i was going to try to find a matching floor tom for it but to find a mid 60s WMP gretsch floor tom with the dual lug in similiar condition as the rest of the kit might prove to be nearly impossible if at all possible.
