I bought this kit, the crash is a 50s paiste, the hats are 14" metro hats, the kit itself is a pearl kit made by winston in the 60s and the hoops on it are wood and steel, not plastic. The cymbal stand is steel and hasn't budged at all since I've played it. I'm usually a bass player, not a drummer so I just picked up this kit to mess around with, but it's really a surprisingly decent kit.

My first set of drums were Winston. I think they are Stewart Winston...a cheaper line of Stewart. Mine were pearl white and had 2 mounted toms...one of which I cut a lawn all summer for. I am in Ontario too, Steve
