Who stole this from me? Last viewed: 28 minutes ago

I had a max bid of $501 and I was not home when the listing expired, it went for $540, So who won it>?

This auction is for an ultra rare DUNNETT stainless steel snare Drum custom made by Ronn Dunnett with FIBES hardware, in excellent condition.

The snare is from my own collection and in GREAT condition with no dent, damaged bearing edges, out-of-round shell, or other funky business. Chrome lugs and steel shell are shiny and in beautiful shape, without rust or pitting.

Snare size is 14x6.5 with 10 lugs. Strainer is in perfect working condition.

This is a one-of-a-kind snare drum, custom made by Ronn DUNNETT to match FIBES drums. The drum was in fact named “Stacey” in homage to Stacey Roberston, the wife of Tommy Robertson – owner of Fibes drums. All in all a very hip and collectible snare, sure to make a great investment, particularly with DUNNETT no longer taking special orders and FIBES no longer producing drums.

I'm a little confused by your post.electricit

In your first sentence you're referencing a snare that you apparently bid on but lost yet there's no description, pic and/or e-Bay Item Number.

The rest of your post is describing a DUNNETT snare that you've apparently got up for bids but, again, no Item Number is mentioned.

Is it just me (which is quite possibleDOH) or do some blanks still need to be filled in?

He should have put quotation marks around this......that is the text from the auction. If you search the auction number it shows that exact text in it. I believe the original poster is stating that they were trying to win the auction on this drum, not sell it.

And to the original poster: no one "stole" it from you. You bid up to what you were willing to pay for it. Someone outbid you, plain and simple. If you were willing to pay more than your max bid, you should have put you're absolute max you would have paid for it. If you weren't willing to pay more than what you bid, then too bad, so sad.

And no, I didn't bid on this drum.

I had my eye on that one too, but did'nt bid on it.

As a Fibes & Dunnett fan, it's a pretty unique snare.

You guys kill me, I WAS KIDDING DAAAAAAAAAA, sure I wanted the snare but not for the collectable reason, I didn't care the drum was autographed and signed in the shell to the wife of the owner fo Fibes I wanted it becuase I play fibes and the combo of a Dunnett snare with fibes hardware intrigues me....and yes I am an amatuer on e bay anyway, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
