Hello

Could anyone tell me who might repair a 1.25" crack running down the edge of cymbal, not along the grooves. I know about drilling a hole to stop the cack but I was wondering if it could be welded. It is an 18" K Istanbul Zildjian and I really love the sound.

Please let me know what you think and who to contact and thank you very much for your help.

Take care

T

Re-engineering a cymbal is never a good idea. You'll end up with a cymbal that's no good as either a pang or a crash. And then after that your newly created "good for nothing" cymbal has little chance of selling, except as a piece of scrap metal.
