Whatcha Think? - 60's Supra' Last viewed: 11 hours ago
Original heads, no severe pitting. Should clean up real nice IMHO. $200 would be a fair offer. Assuming you're buying not selling.
I think it's a very nice Supra!
Are you looking to sell it or buy it?

I already bought it, off da' bay, for a not so nice price. But, I wanted it real bad, being that it is all original and in such great shape and comes with all the amenities. What I'm wondering is if it is COB. I'm wondering this because of the fact that there is a bit of rust on the hoops, but there is no pitting (I think it's just dirt/dust on the shell). I've already justified the $300 I spent on it, but if it turns out to be brass I will be that much more happy. Jump For Joy
Not too big of a deal, but it also gives me a luddy from four different decades. I already have a pioneer from the '50's, an acrolite from the '70's and a Supra' (6.5") from the '80's.:o
I honestly don't think $300 was a bad price at all. After all, it's THE go-to snare drum of all snare drums. It is THE snare drum sound, in general. You got one with a cool badge, baseball bat muffler, P-83 throwoff and all that old school "mojo" of anything made in the 60's. The shells are all spun seamless. Just TRY finding the new drums out there with all these kinds of things and you will most assuredly spend a great deal more than $300!
Believe me, your drum will clean up to the point were it will look almost like new. I think you did just fine.
