Early 60's? In a word? No.

Wait are you guys saying it's not worth it? Is champagne sparkle rare? These drums were never in a set originally so I thought it would be a good deal.

Hollywood Champagne sparkle? These drums aren't bringing but maybe half of a good condition Superclassic WMP. If the wraps are without much ,if any fade, they will bring $1500 in super condition, or more.

I've seen matched sets of Hollywoods, take your pick in color, in good shape, go for under $1000 or unsold all together.

I'm not sure I would pay $400 in addition to your kit, but I would definitely try to negotiate.Bottom line , the 5 piece kits aren't bringing it.

I have passed on some mighty nice Rogers 60s five piece kits. The 4 piece set up ..... just looks classier.

The market is kind of screwy right now and it's hard to predict how things might change down the road.

My opinion, as far as the desirability of certain configurations/colors over others is as follows:

I'm talking about trading these drums for a 3pc WMP Set and giving the guy $400.
