What should I do about no reply seller? Last viewed: 53 minutes ago

Loading...

Hi, I bought a snare on ebay. paid on Feb 2.

since that, the seller has not give me any replies.

He has over 10,000 positive feedback. only one negative lately.

I'll wait for this week and then open a case for all money back.

Is it too early? Should I wait for at least 1 month?

I'm trying to contact with the seller almost everyday via ebay contacting the seller page. I think I've sent over 10 messages to him.

If the seller is not responding, request his personal info from ebay. Get a telephone number and try calling him. Maybe he isn't getting the emails. If after that you get no resolution, then file a claim with paypal/ebay. Sometimes you need to escalate things to a claim to get people to respond, sad as that may be.

Good luck.

Thank you.

I'm in Japan, and I do not have enough English skill to talk with the seller about this kind of issue. I've already contacting the ebay customer center, and they said they'll try to contact with the seller. Probably it seems not worked yet.

I think I might be a too careful man. but this seller is the worst I've ever deal with.

good luck to me...

Hi

I'd wait a little longer.

I've gone through this twice with one particular seller. He's busy, away alot, got a lot of stuff on the go but he does respond to my emails eventually. He always has some pretty good sounding excuse why he's late - and he sends the stuff and I get it a little late.

Sometimes sellers have others working for them and the communication is not that great. That's not a good excuse - especially after you've paid for the goods.

I know how it can be after paying and waiting though.

You have 30 days to lay your complaint with paypal I think - is that how you paid?

I'd wait another week or start the process as others have advised.

Please let us know how it all works out.

Gary

Hi, thank you Kona.

It seems the drum arrived here yesterday. I can receive it a few days later. As As a result, the seller shipped fast, Feb 4.

hmmm, I don't see why he keeps not contacting with me. I feel strange.

because he listed other items several times after I paid. He must register wrong email address on the ebay or something.

well, I actually a little bit worried about the condition because he didn't answer to my questions.

I want to give him positive feedback, but hmmm. How do you think? Should I give him positive? Maybe, neutral or no feedback would be better.

Anyway, that was pretty feeling bad 2 weeks. I wasted a lot of time to think about this.

Glad to hear you got it. There is now a feedback option to rate the sellers communication, shipping/packaging, description, etc. Negative feedback will only result in more problems from this seller. I would leave + feedback and rate his communication at a zero, so other buyers know what they are getting into. 2 weeks sounds about right, or even kind of fast for overseas shipping. I've run into sellers who refuse to communicate, and I agree it is very nerve racking, it takes 2 minutes to say "hey your item shipped today".

Your item may have spent 10 or more days in the New Jersey international shipping hub for USPS. Two items I shipped this year, one to France, and one to New Zealand got stuck there, and the buyers and myself were concerned for a bit.

If it were me, I would inspect the item, send him a thank-you if it's in good shape, and if he doesn't respond to that, leave low communication feedback.
