What an awesome old kit!!
What Ludwig snare is this green beauty?? Last viewed: 20 hours ago

Looks like an early Super Sensitive
A "rare" and expensive one for sure...
The change in shipping is probably because he was swamped with emails...
Most Super Ludwigs that are brass go for between $600 and $1200 depending on what it is and this one should easily hit that mark if enough people are watching it.
Of course I would like to see the insides and the badges to see if the finish is in fact original.
Looks like it from the exterior....

You see who got this???
That was a good price for that!

He checked in with me... I told him it was a good deal.LoLoLoLo

Seems like auctions that include old bass drums often go at a bargain. Guess not many people want to ship 'em.
That would be a really cool museum set up that is still pretty functional, with all of the parts and original cymbals...
I know Mike usually keeps the snares and parts out the rest.
It would be great if he set it all up for a promo shot prior to splitting it up....
Hey Mike how about a look back in history photo???
I know, you are a busy person....

The bass drum went to Randy Rainwater right away as it was shipped to him from the seller so I never had the bass drum. Randy may bring it to the Chicago Show. The cymbals, cow bells, wood block, stands etc. are up for auction on eBay...when the dust settles I will have paid about 1000.00 for the snare drum...that drum restored is easily worth 1500.00 +...Photos soon.
