Hi there Zen, thanks so much for the valuable information. It would definitely appear as if mine in the medium range. It is actually a very nice cymbal at that weight - it is light enough to be very wobbly and crashable but heavy enough to still have a pronounced but not overbearing ping. It is in the middle of something like a 24" Giant Beat Multi which at around 2800 - 3000g tends to be too washy sometimes and the 3900 range for a ride which can sometimes be a bit too pingy. The only problem is that it gets no gigging time because of its size. Don't have a 24" cymbal bag. Have a great day and thanks again.

Drums: Ludwig / Star / Tama / Yamaha
Snares: Arai /Mapex / Ludwig / Slingerland / Star / Tama
Cymbals: Meinl / Paiste / Tosco / Wuhan /Zildjian / Zyn

Sounds like you should sell it (to me)! :D

There were preserial Paperthin 602 - gotta look at the Paiste materials as opposed to the Ludwig materials as Ludwig didn't catalog everything and seemed slow to make updates to their catalogs.

602 Paperthins were released sometime between 1967-1969. The weight is listed on this promotional piece dating from 1968 or 1969 when a lot of other great additions were made to the 602 line.
