Here's the quote from the ad..." Search: Pearl, drums, snare, drumset, Tama, OCDP, custom"

Focus on the OCDP and the word "custom" there. This guy intentionally cut that hole in the snare to resemble the Orange County swiss cheese drums.

And turned a $60 snare into a $20 snare, max money. It is a Star shell, but now it is ruined for anything other than that "modern" sound. It will be loud, to be sure.

Hi All, That drum is not a O.C.D.P snare drum at all, when i see listings like this it gets me so:mad: when people used are name like that in a listing..O.C.D.P would never make or sell a piece of &^$^ like that..Mikey

Hey Mikey. I wasn't infering nor was the seller saying it was an Orange County drum. Those are tags I picked up from the ad. From those buyer originated tags I deduced the motivation behind that freekin' chasm in the side of that snare. Nothing more.

Hi, I know,But we see alot of this going on.On c/l and even ebay and if people dont know and are looking at a drum with O.C.D.P in the ad,they may think its one we made..Just look at D.W's OPDP logos on the front bass drum heads...Funny thing the logo looks just like the one we have in shape .We have been useing it from day one,and they even went as far to almost copy the letters we used..again people who dont know may think that OPDP is O.C.D.P....mikey
