This was a bit strange. I did a quick search for some high cost CD's and came up with this CD on ebay. It's being sold brand new for 40 bucks. I have no idea who this company is or how they calculated the worth, but it ain't worth this!

This is a CD I did with this Buffalo group called REV. That's me on the left as visualized by the paper artist. It was one of the final projects I did with this trio.

Freaked me out, for sure.

How the heck do these ebayers sleep at night. Freekin' toadstools.

Wonder if they'll send me my cut.......

There is a big market for rare or undistributed records, and CD's these days.

If you guys were only a "garage band," it would have been priced higher.

Groovy! So I should start digging up work I did with unsigned artists? Makes me wonder about royalties I've been screwed out of...DOH

Check this out. We did a live radio broadcast in Salt Lake City('97 I think).

He calls me 8 months later and says "the tapes came out great so we are going to release this one as an album, but I need you to sign a waiver for any royalties." singer

You know the ironic part of it? I BOOKED THAT GIG as a side man and paid HIM.

I'm listed in credits as Jamie Reeves.

your right it isnt worth that. ive been collecting records for a few decades now and can be found saturdays and sundays searching through moldy boxes while everyone else is at the beach. i must like the punishment. number one. just because it is rare. dosent make it worth anything at all. the material needs to be desirable as well. there are several different kinds of people that you will run across as you search for music. people who will give it or throw it away. people who think that just because it is "vintage" it must be worth a lot of money. these are the types that will try to get 10 dollars for a burt bacharach record. then theres the ones who have some idea vaguely about what things are worth. these people are the worst. like a 80,s copy of abby road all scratched up and haggard for 35 dollars. then you have the people who target their stuff to the very small niche they can. which is what i think is going on here. like if i had a copy of the 1972 spring choral concert for jfk high school. where would i sell that? i would go to facebook and try to find class of 72,ers and appeal to their nostalgia and see where that goes. the game come to think of it is not that much different from buying and selling old drums. to be honest with you i would just let it go. they will never sell enough copys to make it worthwhile to pursue any action against them. i doubt they will sell any at that price. i know how that feels when you have been weaseled out of work done on a record. it has happened to me.
