That Pearl is a great snare.. I had a 6.5x14 exactly like it for many moons, it came with my professional DX series kit from the mid-80s. It's one of the only drums I have ever regretted selling.

If you are talking about the badge on my Pearl, here's a picture. I really don't know much about the drum other than I found what looks to be a picture of it in Pearl's 1975 catalog. I picked this up at an auction a few weeks ago. It does sound great!
If you know anything more about them, please inform. I really like the strainer and the chrome is beautiful.
