I know the guy--have talked to him a few times. He's very hard to pin down. His dad was a drummer since the 1930's and was a very good friend of mine. He passed away about 3 weeks ago, and the son is handling the estate from several state's away. I talked to him by phone last week and he keeps talking about an estate auction, Craig's List, ebay, but he really doesn't know. I think he's testing the waters with this listing. He answered me back, but I think he doesn't know what he wants to do. There were a few kits that he has of his dad's but I bought many of his vintage kits and cymbals a couple years back when he was selling the higher end things. The stuff that's left that I remember is a Ludwig standard black strata double bass kit, a modern Ludwig kit, assorted snares, a few large bass drums in natural finish, a Big-R Rogers kit, a Pearl Export, etc... I don't remember it all. The 1930's Ludwig and Ludwig the son is keeping, as well as the better cymbals, because he's a drummer himself. That's what I know.
