Is it common to have such sporatic and non uniform hammering on Turkish brands ? It don`t make the same imprint as the hammering i`m used to see`n,...just curious !!

photos of the bell. one is the underside
great idea Oddball! haha. As long as i don't have to wear one of those weird hats in the restaurant down there
Although its a bit hard to tell from these pictures partially because of the glare, it would appear to me that there is a hairline crack at the bell-hole approximately 3/4" long. This was also apparent in the pictures shown previously in your advertisement in June as reported by those who saw it, myself included.
I can see the impression made by it from the bottom of the bell too.
yes. sorry about the glare. and your absolutely correct. there is a hairline crack but its not even 1/4 of an inch long Drumaholic. Here is another picture.
The visible part of the crack is about a half in. and you know what they say here in Beantown,....stick a fork in it !! :2Cents:

Was there ever a signature under the bell ?

here this picture is a little better. Its only 1/4 inch. and you can faintly see were the signature used to be. obviously its not as clear as a K istanbul signature but this cymbal is a lot older
That`s only what you can see. The only way to know exactly is to X-Ray it !! Not gonna be worth it.
It also looks in that photo like there is another smaller one (1/16) starting just above your thumbnail !!
