I'm a big fan of the newer K Custom Dark series......they remind me of a mix of old A's and the K's from the 50's....dark, but not too dark, and shimmery without being too bright or harsh.

I have among others, a set of K Custom Special Dry cymbals. 21, 18, 16, and 14" hats. I've heard a rumour that this line is discontinued now. Is this true.

Love my old trans stamp A's, but playing out I will use newer cymbals. Currently like a 16" K dark thin crash. But it plays like and old A should. Picked up an 18" Z&Cie Vintage crash that is excellent, with a 16" on the way this week. But again they are "old A" sounding. Hats are all A's, but the newest is a 70's hollow logo for amplified gigs. The other's are late 40's, 50's and late 60's.
After visiting the UFIP factory in Italy, I would love to have an assortment to pick through (without flying over there), but there are not many to chose from here in the US.
