Can anyone give me a value on this Rogers Swiv-O-Matic BDP? It seems to have all the original parts and is in very good condition.
Vintage Roger bass drum pedal Last viewed: 5 hours ago
Cleaned up 50.00 to 75.00 depending on how many are on ebay at a given time...
I have owned them forever and never played them i got my first speed king in 1964 and i have never played anything else someone with experience with them will have to answer that question.. LOL
I have used the Swiv-O-Matic pedal, and it's a dream. A very well built and smooth pedal, no squeaks like a Speed King. IMO, miles ahead of the Speed King

I currently use a Pearl Eliminator and just bought the Rogers and also have a Speed King on the way. I am going to try both the Rogers and the Ludwig and see how they compare. I'm curious to see if the vintage pedals operate more to my liking than the more modern Pearl.
The Rogers has a totally different feel from the Speed King. Both are excellent.
I thought that the Rogers felt like it had more power, and the way it mounts on the hoop is either something you'll love or hate.
The Rogers has a lot of adjustments too - there's not many pedals that allow you to adjust the height like it does.

Yea it does have a lot of adjustments but I have heard people say that that's why they like the Speed King because it doesn't. I am excited to try both.
I play rogers drums and always have but i never got into their pedals i play with the ball of my foot and hit very hard i kept breaking the leather strap or it would stretch those were my issues the speed king when properly maintained does not squeek and the wide footboard is perfect for heavy hitters but i have to agree the rogers has a ton of adjustments you can even angle the footboard away from the drum...
