This is in my town, so would be a bargain if it doesn't go up too much...anyone any ideas as to the model or year? Lugs look quite modern??

Ask seller if the shell interior is painted/stained black; looks like it is...if so, it's an asian shell, kinda crappy and not the typical higher good-quality Premier birch shell...so it wouldn't be a great drum, honestly.
Yes, it does look relatively new...maybe 10-15 years old tops.
Cheers for the info! Lugs look like genista, which would fit into your timeframe - hardly vintage though!
It is definitely not a Genista snare. The Genista had a different strainer and lugs. It also had clear interior. Apart form the stained interior it looks exactly like the 13" snare that came with a Premier "Club Kit" I bought new in 2001 or 2002.
Yeah, I must have been getting it mixed up with that one! duh! Anyway, it has the painted interior, as mentioned above, so I dunno
Well, I bought it. It's no classic obviously, but it was local, came with a case and was £30.00. plus I got a Pearl Export kick for £16.00 and a bass amp off the guy for £29.00, so it was kind of a job-lot. It's plenty loud, but has a crappy tone cranked up. Will probably sell at some point. Still can't figure out the model. It's 14x5 and is painted black on the inside, so I'd guess it's a standard snare from a Premier kit of about 15 years ago.
