After I had that strike of luck with the sonor snare (which I've fallen in love with btw) it would have been predictible for things to get a bit into balance, right? :))

Anyway, I find comfort thinking that I saved these drums from more degradation and am now really determined to bring them back into decent playing shape. So whish me luck and check the restoration forum for more details.
