Here is a NICE Rogers shell mount cymbal holder that will fit existing holes.

So when you're ready to spend the money, the parts are out there (on a good day).flower

Here is a picture of hoops I did this week. Sanded down lightly, masked inlay with masking tape, then 2 coats paint and topped with a spray on gloss coat. Lay flat to paint, then flip over and spray again.baby crawl2

*Remember that your finish is champagne sparkle(ala NORM's earlier post)which is not ALL gold, but a mix of 2 sparkles. You might want to re-wrap both hoops so they match. If not, sand both hoops, mask hoop that has the inlay, then paint. Just make sure paint job is clean so you can just pop on inlay when you get it.

Inside of drum, honestly, I'd just leave it alone. It's really not worth A LOT of work because it won't show if you stay with coated heads. DO NOT get radical with a belt sander. Resist the urge. I'd spend bulk of your time worrying about the outer appearance. As far as the year goes 1969-72 is about as close as I can guess without the badge.

I'd recommend ordering what you need pre-cut. keep it simple if you are new to this. JamminSam discontinued Champagne so try Precision Drum Company.

They can give you more pointers about installing wrap, but your project is as easy as it gets if you have the $ to spend. :2Cents:

Gary at Precision will sell U the CONTACT CEMENT that can fix lifting seams and install new wrap. Here is a before/after drum that I repaired using it.Excited These Bowling Balls are high maintenance, but I love 'em even more now!
