Obviously, it goes without saying the owner painted the inside (so why'd you say it?). Those lug inserts are later issue. The shell is 3 ply. The T-rods are later. The wrap is standard. That narrows it down to after 1968-ish and prior to the late 70's.

Some needed info:

Please verify if the Ludwig-Lump is present. That would help narrow it down a bit.

Please check under the black paint to see the original base.

Please verify the spur type.

Please verify if there was ANY drilling for mounts.

thanks.

Not sure what the ludwig lump is. Its has a taper on the edge of the drums inside. Also It looks like natural would under the black. No spurs came with the drum. Hope thats helps.

Late 60's to early 70's concert/band bass (not marching due to lack of drilled braces). That would be my guess. Anyone else?

The color looks to me to be champagne sparkle rather than gold.

Yes. It appears to be a band drum. It was most likely sold to some sort of concert band person. There's not a model to be specified. It's a Ludwig bass in champagne/gold wrap manufactured in the late 60s to early 70s. Beyond that, not sure what else can be added. It was not sold with a drum kit, if that's what you're asking.

I see what appears to be a hole in the upper right quadrant. Is that where the spur should be?

I asked about spurs and drilled holes. There didn't seem to be any. If there is, that would change the identification of this drum quite a bit, don=cha=no. Shall we start anew?
