I bought these bongos from a boot sale for £1.00GBP. The guy wanted a tenner and i told him the bongos are worthless especially with a broken skin. He knew no different so he said give us a quid as a gesture. These bongos are rare these days Made in England and named after the famous Edmundo Ros. These were made by John Grey 50'S/60'S. I wrap all my own drum heads with calf skin so wrapping these no probs. Ive been making my own drum heads for the past 20 yrs. What i do need if anyone has one is the John Grey tuning key for these.

Speaking of bongos probably should start another thread found a set in bro no badge made well reigns looks like slight lugs but most likley mj no pick as usual
April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Very nice find.
It looks more like you will need to rummage for a workable wrench.
