#2 gets my vote. Both are amazing cymbals, but to me, #2 is darker, nastier, exotic, and just has more going on in general. More depth. #1 is a bit more vanilla (which some people probably prefer, just not me).

I was hoping you'd say that, because that cymbal came from you.
I prefer #1 to #2 by cymbal itself. If I hear it with some acoustic instruments, the answer may be different.
#1 is more mellow and washy than #2. #2 cymbal itself is pingy to me. Both are great, thought.
I love all K's, but I prefer the sound of the first one. Very old school sound, without too much overtone.
Thanks for doing this. I'm stunned by how the vote is even at this point because the first one was the obvious choice for me. The sound is woody, projecting the warmth of the stick and didn't get confused or over crowded when going at it. Of course different sticks, and mics will affect the sound to some degree.
btw, I'm almost positive I recognize the first recording from a cymbal on an ebay auction.

Yes that's right.
I'd say number 1, although it's hard to judge due to different quality of recordings. But n.1 is nice and woody, altough it might have just a little bit too much wash.
Number 2 is too raw and brutal to my ears and those rivets also don't sound right.

I liked #2 better, though the rivet(s) were distracting.
