No. I was busting your chops about that throne. That one cracked me up. You wanted to play so bad you grabbed the dinning room chair. That's a drummer, for ya. To be honest, the odd stand is your call. If you like it, keep it. If not, you can offset some of the cost by selling it. What I was pointing out is the availability of those Buddy Rich stands. They appear on ebay quite often and can be had. I own several of them and love 'em. They are light, sturdy, and solid. Plus, they look good with the kits. I have the ones with the smaller bass and they work great. Dang. Nice kit. Great move picking it up. Don't fret over the money. It won't matter when you realize how sweet of a kit you really got. It's worth every penny.
