TDR Strainer sells for over $200? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

OK - someone explain this to me - I was bidding on a TDR strainer (without Butt) and I got up to $50, and suddenly someone bid $203!

Can someone explain this to me?

I have two more of these and, if I can sell them for $200, I am thinking I might actually do it!

OR was this other bidder just nuts?

I was watching this also. Am relatively certain we'll see that strainer re-listed in a few days due to non-payment. Don't know what the bidder(s) were thinking, but I cannot think of any valid reason they'd pay several times more than the going rate for the item.

Not uncommon when new people enter the market for items and the frenzy of Ebay.

I usually watch catalogs and flyers and was bidding on a flyer which I thought was in the $20 range go for $500!

Someone just purchased 11 catalogs from NAMM 2009 and paid $120

I have never seen so much (new material) NAMM 2009 stuff sell on Ebay. Makes me want to go and load up on catalogs...

I'm in the wrong business that is for sure.

There is nothing that really suprises me any more.

Except when I sell items I think are worth $100 and get no bids!
