I normally do not point out Ebay auctions, unless they are funny or just plain crazy. This one takes the cake for me and I really wonder what
some sellers are thinking. Wait, no need to wonder...
And to add $35 shipping.
It is a free market and if the buyer is uninformed then who else is to blame.
This brings up a good point. When I'm about to buy a new item I search a variety of places and I would say Ebay does not always have the best price. I factor in tax, shipping and time in to any new purchase and then make a decision.
If it is electronics I use Amazon to read the reviews to see what people are saying about the product and then take that price, search Yahoo and Ebay to see who has it in stock at the best price.
Also if a company has bad reviews then price is not always the driving force.
Also, it is very wise to type in " Amazon Coupon Code " in Yahoo to see if any coupon sites have special offers. I do this with any company I'm about to purchase from!
I recently purchased domain names from Go Daddy and they had 3 or four good coupons online that saved me money.
