I just picked up an interesting 5x14 Supra. It has the transitional keystone badge, Chicago, serial #3120735. Chrome faced P85. Minimal pitting. Muffler intact. There is an additional vent hole just over the snare butt. Looks factory. What do the Luddy gurus think it might be worth? (After closer inspection, there are 2 small holes just under the butt and 2 holes on either side of the strainer. The top hole on the strainer looks like the hole I thought was a vent hole on the butt side. 1 big hole high and 2 small holes low. In addition there is a new small hole for the bottom screw on the strainer. I'm thinking there was a different throw system that has been replaced.)

I'm no LudwiGuru, but is it possibly a SuperSensitive that's been "downgraded" over the years from the dual throw offs to the P-85 strainer and butt?

I agree with Kevins, I recently had a 6.5" supersensitive that was changed to a P-85, it had the same holes left over that you are describing.
