Time to show my rear and vent. So, I see a cool Mahogany finish Slingerland kit on the bay. It's a concert Tom setup. It doesn't sell and I email the guy and make an offer over current market value. He's somewhat snotty and says he's got two others making offers. He'll get back. Baddabing, the kit appears back on eBay with a starting bid higher than before. It has a lone bidder within a couple of hours. That bidder has zero feedback. And so it sits with this lone shill waiting it out. When the auction ends, the shill won't pay and this sap is going to email me to let me know he'll take my offer. You know what my response will be. "Not in a million years."

Get him on the phone...

Play "Kharma Chameleon" in the background.

Then throw it away, please.......

Concert toms? Would you put bottom heads on them?

I got a set of Tama Imperialstar's in Midnight Blue I'd sell you. Full octa-plus Tama style.

I'll pack them with the floor.... Laughing H

The thing that bugs me the most about this is these things would be GREAT with my Buddy Rich kit. I would leave them single headed and have a nice tonal plaything to add. Oh well. Hopefully, he will see the error of his ways and plead for forgiveness, give me the drums for free, and hold himself up in a single room hovel to do some introspection.
