At least he doesn't know what he is doing. I mean, most people that do this know exactly what they are worth, this is just some antiquer that found some dirty old drums. Still, this is sickening.

I can't stand when these greedy people split up these kits to try and get the most profit! Soap Box sickening to think a complete kit such as this may never be reunited again! CryBaby

John, this seller may not know exactly what he has, but he full well knows that he is trying to maximize his Investment. look at his sells numbers and feedback, He's no Dummy!!! this guy is not in my well liked book!!!Cooked Egg
How do you know he has the whole set? I see he has a bunch of old 20s and 30s drum stuff, but none of it goes with that snare, maybe I'm missing something. If he has it and is waiting until the snare sells to list it that is even worse in my opinion.
What year model is the snare drum??? the same year as all the other stuff he's selling???? this was an entire kit. now broken up!!!

I'm sorry but I don't see the sacrilege in breaking up a mismatched kit. Hes got a horribly warped Ludwig bass, a bunch of random Luddy and Leedy accessories and a few random cymbals, none of which is very rare at all other than that nice painted BD head. There's a very good chance that someone looking for a Fancher doesn't want any of that stuff. Regardless of the era, none of this is a matched kit, I would have listed it exactly the same.
Deadhead, I will refrain from ripping you a new one, your so knowledgeable give me some history on the snare drum please?? because your analysis of the other equippment has already got you labeled!!
I think what VM2K is on about ... not every drumkit in history was built around snare bass tom floor config. Those old cymbals and doodads were a MAJOR part of that kit. It's all in pieces now. That should disturb any lover of fine drums.
