Would anyone want to trade an 18" for your 16" plus maybe a cymbal stand or camco bass pedal?

I sold an 18" Stainless steel floor tom last year on fleabay for $750.00
I'd think twice about a straight up swap. The 18" is a rare size (unless it's a one head concert tom, in which case the value goes down,) and if you can do between $650 and $750. for it, you can buy a 16" and still have $ left over.

True. I might just sell the whole set as one. It would be a mish mash of sizes, but would be worth it to a collector. It is most of the toms from an octoplus but with a 22" bass drum. You are right.
