The more profitable it is to strip and sell, the more chop shop sellers will be on ebay.

I look at my drums like that My old guitar song by neil young. When I pass them on, hopefully someone feels the same.

And another one splitting up the kit - this time with an LA Camco.

Apart from anything else the drums have got so many holes in them (and in bizarre places as well) that they look like they've been on the wrong end of a shotgun.

That kit has real hole issues. And the reserves are way up there. He is providing a service for the guy that needs a single. For example, the 13 solves a problem for the guy that buys the kit in the Washington area. If there actually was a 10" tom produced by Camco, that would have been an interesting piece for me. That's my preferred first rack tom size, but now I'm a "vintage guy." 18" bass drum? Instant bop kit for a guy with a 22" or 24" bass drum configuration.

Intrigued me about this post. I sell on eBay, and complete drums, unless I find them to be missing parts. Will sell them hoping that someone out there will take the time and make them right, or just have them to be proud of. I have a buyer that I have watched in the past that has bought a few completely original snare drums. The meaning of this post was a strainer this guy was selling, NOT THE DRUM, well, he did find a script model. Went into his feedback, and it was the script strainer the guy bought and parted out off of me...
