1975 Chevy Nova. Not the tiniest car, but considering I was able to stuff a double-bass, 8 piece Rogers set into it was an amazing demonstration of Tetrus ability. Of course, the advantage I had was this Nova was the rare hatchback version. Back seat folded down into one long cargo bed.[Attachment: 49990]

I Have a 2 door Toyota Tercel that I put a 22 12 16, snare cymbals,hardware in.
The ultimate rock ride IMO is one in which you can get your kit,half the bands backline,and a fat chick to the gig.

Back in the 90's, I used to haul my 24,13,14,18 with 5 cymbal stands & HH, cymbals throne and rug, in my '94 Nissan 300Z. With the back seats down, it was pretty spacious.
Today, I use my Navigator, when I'm needed. Nothing says carbon footprint, like a Lincoln!

Wish I still had it. It had a great optional accessory... a fabric tent/cover for the open hatchback that basically turned the cargo bed into a mini-camper. And yes that provided some memorable moments not requiring any further explanation.
The drums now travel in comfort in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Actually fits two timpani in the cargo area. And I don't worry about its carbon footprint; my wife releases more carbon dioxide everytime she sees another drum arrive at the door.
I fit my whole Slingy kit in the backseat of my Tundra, while it was eating a Challenger as a mid-morning snack.......LOL. (joke, don't send death threats, please.....LOL)
If you have a 4 door car with a good enough hatch area, you can fit an entire kit in the back and still have all of your seats free........as long as your kick isn't huge.
OH PLease......your Tundra would still be in first gear while my Challenger is blowing smoke in you face!!!! its great for hauling drums, not drag racing LOL!!Excited
