Slingerland Toms Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Can someone please shed some light for me please. Why would there be 2-12" toms on this kit? I am not familiar with my vintage Slingerland configurations.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. It is a nice looking set!

Thanks in advance!

this was a very common practice used by all the major manufacturers of the day, I have a 50's wfl kit with two 13" toms on it factory original!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

This is the set, with a COB Radio King instead of the cataloged Sound King.

From the 1967 catalogs in the Drum Guide.

I don't think he will get his starting bid.

Cool, so it is a ligit set and configuration. Good to know! And you are correct kevins, he has re-listed it once already. I would love to pounce on it if he would come down a few hundred.

If he had the period correct Zildjians to go with it, I'd make an offer of that opening bid.

I'd have to sell some stuff and hold the landlord off for a month with a whip and a chair too, but it would be worth it.....
