I thought it was a Ludwig but it turned out to be a Slingerland.

What exactly is this?

I also want to know if it's easy to find a strainer ike the one in the pics. It has "Slingerland Sur-grip USA" engraved on it. A couple of the hoop claps are broken, but that's a different story.
