Slingerland Marching Drum and Tom fair price? Last viewed: 5 hours ago

Loading...

I would like to buy this beautiful big old Slingerland Marching Drum, it is made out of Maple and from the early sixtie according to the shop keeper. He would like about 600 usd for the drum and accompanying tom.Is this a fair price? I would say the condition is good.

Thanks

Ben

NO! I just purchased a 60's 15x12 gold sparkle Slingerland marching snare with wood hoops and a nice Ludwig leg brace for a hundred. It's 3 ply and in very good condition. It has individual gut snares and plays really well. That shop has that pair WAY overpriced.

...hmmm...now you wrote 'big beautiful'....does this mean it's a BASS drum and a tom...or a marching snare and a tom...or two marching toms ?

Even IF it's a bass drum and a tom...$600 is a bit high for just 2 pieces, even though they may be in great shape.

I would say about $400 tops for both...again, if the big drum is a bass drum....
