Slingerland Drum question.... Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I found a slingerland kit, the seller states that two of the drums were originally painted black, was this something slingerland did as an option? All of the slingerlands I've come across have always been natural wood inside..

Please let me know thanks!

Black? Nope. Clear or that pale chocolate milk color were all they ever used (except for the Spirits, which got gray speckled.)

the selller also states that the bass drum has three reinforcement rings in the bass drum, two on the edges on 1 in the center.... Is this slingerland stock?

Never heard of 3 rings in a drum, and a black interior, seems to me to be a bit fishy... thoughts?
