I'm only 2(ish) hours away, but have definitely tapped out the drum buying budget already. Still, somebody might be closer, richer, more motivated, etc...

thoughts?

That sounds like a GREAT deal to me! Shoot! Why don't we have any deals like that in Portland? It seems like everyone here is selling their stuff for ridiculously high prices ($1700 for a beat up Club Date? Are you serious?!?!?).

Dude, even though you've exceeded your budget, you should go for it, if they aren't gone already. Think of it as an investment--you could turn 'em around and make a profit if you don't like 'em...

I will put up the cash if you go get them and ship them to me. I'll cover your time and effort. Serious request.

crap...the listing has been taken down already. "he who hesitates..." (etc).

In my defense, my wife and I were at a birthing class this afternoon when I *might* (but not really) have been driving to Indy. Our 2nd son is due in 5 weeks.

That's a pretty good defense, right...?

Sorry I couldn't help...this one just posted, though.

He says they're "sparkly gold" and he'll send "pitchers"!! :D I don't know much about Luddies, but $600 seems worth looking into.

p.s. I think some folks over at DFO (drumforum.org) might've moved pretty quickly on that Rogers/Slingy deal. Just saw their thread.
