Im not educated enough to know what you mean by "blips". I guess I dont care as long as they work. Anyway, a great member of this forum has stepped up and will be sending me the rods. Thank you guys!

Glad to hear that our members have what you need! Here are some pictures to educate you on the tension rod head styles. The picture of my 1966 COB Dynasonic has tension rods with "square-cut" heads. The picture of the tom has tension rods with the little "blips" formed into them. This occurred sometime in the Dayton era. Many collectors and restorers do get picky in regards to period-correct parts! Hope this helps!
