I made an inquiry earlier in the week on this forum. I have now posted the drum on ebay. Thanks for the help!

Amazing how badly two people can want the same thing at the same time and have just enough money to embarrass themselves in the getting of it.

Is it me or did that snare go for too much money? It seems a bit high for that one. Then again, who can predict the bidders these days... strange world.

Everything that I have read about Luxors always starts out indicating that it is just a 6 lug student drum but descriptions finish indicating the Luxor has all the great playability of drums that have made vintage Rogers equipment so sought after.

That Sta-tite hardware is simple and durable. People indicate the drum is very easy to tune to a consistent, predictable and desirable sound.

This drum seems to be in great shape... case, sticks, stand included. Someplace over $200 sure seemed resonable to expect... but slipping up over $300.. well that is the beauty of auction excitement for sellers... maybe not so much for buyers. :)
