I know Pearl (and possibly Tama?) made kits like this, but I never saw a Rogers one before. The seller says they are R-360's, but those look like the vastly inferior R-380's to me. It's such a sad sight to see the once proud Rogers name hanging on by it's last legs, with broken lugs (you can see several have also been replaced) and just a cheap, low quality appearance. The inside of the bass drum shell looks like Masonite or cardboard. It's like seeing Johnny Unitas in a Chargers uniform or Joe Namath in a Rams uniform.

Those lugs are prone to breaking. Pretty much every 380 set from that period has a few. And the interior ply...no better or worse than the CB 700's with heavy vinyl wood-pattern contact paper. Let us hope the newest reincarnation can do the Rogers name good service. Looks to be headed in the right direction.
