Rogers identify help ! Last viewed: 19 minutes ago

Hey everyone, I wanted to introduce myself but I can't find the right section. I'm new to the world of vintage drums, and I'm thinking about getting a Ludwig or Rogers kit, partly because of the history they represent but mainly for the sound. I’ve found this one for around 1800 euros... what do you think? Can anyone tell me what year it is and what model it is? Thanks in advance from ITA.

Rogers are probably the company I know the least about. I too am new to the vintage drum world. I am a professional touring adn recording drummer. But until recenelty have to started making more pucrhases for collecting and studio use vs what I use on tour.  Those drums look great!!

Looks like a Rogers Headliner set (12-16-20 - Powertone snare)  Late 60's - Early 70's.
Wrap is very bright - rewrap?  If possible, check for internal paper tags with serial numbers.  Check internal impression of the shell where the badge is attached to see if the nails match original positions of the impressions on the shell.
Not sure of Euro pricing, but if that wrap is that clean and original, they are worth top $ - Euro

That's a great set to start getting into vintage drums. Mine was a Leedy, and set up years of vintage drum hobbying.
