Rogers Holiday with Bread and Butter Lugs Pearl Finish For Sale? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

I own a complete Rogers 4pc. Holiday Kit Marine Pearl Finish with bread and butter lugs. I have all the harware, original cymbals, cowbell, stickholder, cases, heads, trapcase for all the hardware. I'v never seen another complete Rogers like this. I got it from the original owner which I am still in contact with. I now need to move on to buying another modern drum set. New Gretch, Eames, DW, Joe Montineri kits all come to mind. If the price is right, I would be willing to part with it to a collector or a drum shop that accepts a trade. Any inquires welcome. I've seen lesser quality kits with less parts for sale online for 1500.00 to 4000.00 all of which were not even bread and butter. I will provide provenance and serial numbers upon request.

Pics will be posted by Feb. 7th the lastest.

Jamamoba:

The bread & butter lugs are notorious for having hairline cracks. Could you please tell me what percentage of yours show some sort of cracking?

Thanks!

The lugs that a cracked account for the bottom head of the floor Tom missing. So 8 lugs are cracked which can be remanufactured by jpcreations. The new lugs are cast out of the right metal. I have not restored anything at this point.

The color will be one of the determining factors. You stated "Marine Pearl", is that White, Blue, Black...Red? What snare does it have? Sizes also play a big part in the value of a kit to certain buyers. The overall condition, and you may want to ask the potential buyer if they want to do the resto, because that is a very big job, and many of us prefer to do it so we become intimate with the kit right away. Good luck with it, and you have a few people right here that are interested in this kit......Yes Sir
