Well, you know how it is in Tucson, only a few neighborhoods are easy to decypher. Nice area though. My in-laws live in Sabino Canyon, at the end of Sabino Canyon Rd, right across from the park entrance. All the way on the other side of town...and only River Rd to cross town...brings a little ditty to mind.....

Are you looking to sell this snare or just trying to get a rough idea of it's value? I am sure someone will want it, if you post it in the "For Sale" section.

That is 'the' Ringo snare with a different strainer. It's 5.5 x 14 and the layout of the strainer, badge & BB muffler is identical to Ringo's original and always recorded model (strainer, 2 lugs, badge, one lug, BB muffler). Ringo got his before they changed the snare to a Jazz Festival (5 x 14) but after they put the P83 strainer on it. Also, when they changed to Jazz festival the layout of the strainer/badge/muffler changed (one lug between each). Check out some old shots of Ringo's kit. If you find a Beatles memorabilia collector, you'll get big bucks for it. Especially having been stored for so long. It would be a treat to see some shots of the inside.

Thought it was a jazz-fest...I think that snare could easily hit $500. Considering your normal everyday super-classic snare is worth around $350...

I would start the bidding at a grand. I believe it would get more.

The responses in this thread illustrate what I said earlier ... who the heck knows what this would go for.

We've got 300 and 500 and 800 and 1000 and 2000 and 3000 etc.

No way to tell.
