Hey guys, I own a Slingerland 3-ply Artist snare from the early 70's that needs it's interior restored. The inner ply is Maple, and I was thinking of using Tung Oil but I am not sure. Maybe Orange Oil? I want to somewhat to enhance the surface of the Maple grain so it looks like it once did. What do guys recommend I try using? Any info would be great. Thanks for your time.
