The keystone badge on the rack tom is upside down! Interesting, I wonder if he flipped the tom around on purpose?

I'll throw my hat into the ring here...
... as THIS was the first album with drums on the cover I remember getting... PRE Buddy for me even! It was the Ludwig Gold Sparkle drums that drew me to the album. I didn't even know who Sandy Nelson was at the time! I later learned that he was a HUGE Gene Krupa fan! I believe this was 1966/67 issue.

Like the pic of Purdie on Rogers blue onyx Headliner kit.
Not superfly, but Rogers on a '79 Drum Solo album...

I did not know that Bob Crane was a drummer. Grew up watching
Hogan's Heroes. His murder remains unsolved. Going to checkout
youtube for any videos of him playing.

rogersfreak!
More than just YouTube... have a look at his Wiki page. I'll supply the link to it, but... he played the drum part to the "Hogan's Hero's theme, which a lot of people didn't know!, and so much more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Crane Didn't intend to hi-jack here, but I have always thought that he/this is fascinating stuff, as well as vintage drum oriented!
